2 centre-backs Chelsea are scouting for summer transfer - Fabrizio Romano reveals


Chelsea are'still in contact' with persons close to Jules Kounde, according to the dependable Fabrizio Romano.


Sevilla pulled the plug on the centre-deal back's to Chelsea last summer, demanding far more than their initial asking price.


Chelsea has dispatched many scouts to monitor Kounde in the last two years, according to Romano, and they are still interested in signing him if at all feasible.


He also mentions Bayern Munich's Niklas Sule as a possible replacement. The contract of the huge centre-back expires at the conclusion of the season, making him a free agent in the summer.


Given the uncertainties surrounding Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger's contract extensions, the Blues are expected to pursue at least one of these two players.
