New Era Has Begun: Chelsea Completes 1st Deal

 



The blues are one of the teams that will be expected to complete one or two deals in the transfer market this summer. Even the blues won the FIFA club world cup and the UEFA Super Cup last season, they will hoping to bring in more titles next season. The truth of the matter is that Chelsea's current squad does not have the quality to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City who have increased the quality of their squad.




However, the blues have already completed one deals this summer as they have extended the contracts of Jess Carter and Maren Mjelde until the summer of 2023, as the Blues announce their first contracts in the aftermath of Todd Boehly's takeover.




Marina will be expected to go an extra mile wh en making her transfer decision this summer as the blues have so many expectations for the forthcoming season. It will not be a small task for Chelsea's new owner, Todd Boehly because he needs to ensure that Chelsea remains a competitive team next season. Marina will have to step up her game this time around, by ensuring that the best deals are completed for the blues this summer.




Be it as it may, Sevilla's center-back, Joules Kounde could be the first player Chelsea could sign this summer. Chelsea's defense needs to be strengthened as the likes of Azplicueta, Rudiger and Christensen will exit the club this summer.
