Double deal makes sense for depleted Chelsea

So we can see the appeal of a double deal like the one suggested in the Daily Mail today. They report that Chelsea’s interest in defender Josko Gvardiol has lead to contact with RB Leipzig, who also have the in-form winger Cristopher Nkunku on their books.

Each looks like one of the top talents available in their position this summer, and it would make sense on many levels for Chelsea to grab both as a package. The whole deal could be negotiated as one, plus the players would have each other around to assist in settling in a new country.
