The Portuguese couldn’t have been much more complimentary about the forward, and also backed him to return to England one day.

“If he want to go… I don’t think he wants to, no – but if he wants to go back to England he just needs to click his fingers and I’m so happy for him,” Jose said, in full magnanimous mode.

It shouldn’t be forgotten that Chelsea have a buy back clause in Abraham’s contract which gives them a guaranteed price should they want to buy him. The sale of Abraham to fund half of Romelu Lukaku is looking like one of the worst transfer decisions we’ve made in a period where there are plenty to choose from.
