Senegal Beat Egypt On Penalties To Win Their First Ever Africa Cup Of Nations Title

 



Sadio Mane scored the winner as Senegal beat Egypt 4-2 on penalties in the 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations final in Cameroon.


Egypt made the final after knocking out the hosts on Thursday, following on from Senegal's 3-1 win over Burkina Faso the day before.


The contest, the 52nd in the tournament, was anything but a classic but featured a superb showing from Egypt's goalkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabal - more commonly known as 'Gabaski'.
